Here are the best Sennheiser headset for gaming

Sennheiser Game Zero and Sennheiser Game One are probably the best two headsets for gaming in the world. I have been a gamer my whole life and I’m 34 years old now, and I can still whoop the butt of almost any kid out there when it comes to FPS games.

Sennheiser Game Zero is the most popular pair of gaming headphones in competitive gaming around the world, every time you see a major tournament you can’t help noticing that they always use Sennheiser.

The directional sound is absolutely phenomenal on these and they are probably, the most comfortable headphones out there when using them for long gaming sessions.

I love them and I have had a lot of headsets, my first Sennheiser was the Sennheiser PC 360 which still offers, everything you would need in a gaming headset.

The Sennheiser Game Zero is just miles ahead of rivals when it comes to design quality and sound interpretation.

When I run around in a game like CSGO I can actually aim at people through the walls wich 99% precision, they are that good, so if you want to get an advantage over your friends in games you should get these cans.

What is directional Sound?

Directional ability is to position enemies in the environment just by hearing them. To pinpoint where your sounds on a map are to = Domination

Digital VS Analog Signal for best sound?

Analog headphones connect via a traditional headphone jack to your Soundcard or a audio processor built into the computer. The old way to do it but there are both positives and negatives about it.

Digital headphones connect either into a USB port or a digital audio out jack and receive digital information to an internally-installed audio processor/soundcard. This can make a headset very heavy and expensive.

There are pro’s and cons with both technologies so what it basically comes down to is, how good the individual headphone is built.

This is where I start to lean to the Analog headphones for audio, the big brands around the world still produce extremely well-built analog headphones, they also produce digital but this is where a normal budget starts to cap out.

You just get a lot more by going analog combined with a good soundcard, so let’s take a look at that.

“BUY A SOUND CARD” Most gamers forget that sound plays a massive role in gaming, and use all of their budget on the biggest Graphics card they can find.

Sound cards also play a key factor in dominating the battleground, so get a good one like the Sennheiser GSX 1000 or any of the “Sound Blaster Z’s” for a budget option.

Sennheiser Game One - Specs and Review

  • Weight: 0.66 lbs
  • Ear cushions: Velour
  • Fit: Over-Ear
  • Cable length: 3m
  • Open-back
  • Foldable: No

Sennheiser Game One is the open version of the popular Sennheiser Game Zero. This headset is not foldable like the Game Zero and it has Velour cushions instead of leather.

The sound is also a little different because of the open design. For everyday use, I use this one, and for gaming, I use the Game Zero. Mabey you like open instead of closed but trust me, you will love them no matter which of them you choose.

Closed ( Sennheiser game zero ) vs Open (Sennheiser game one) Headset

Closed

  • Best isolation for noisier environments

  • Can be enjoyed at lower/safer volume levels

  • Music won’t be easily heard by others nearby

  • Enhancement of lower-level frequencies

  • Overall clarity/accuracy can be diminished

  • Soundstage seems less open/airy

  • Music is more “inside your head”

  • Ears end up sweaty over long periods of use

Open

  • Allows better situational awareness

  • The soundstage is more open/airy and natural

  • Music envelops the user, akin to stereo speakers

  • Ears won’t get so hot/sweaty

  • Least amount of isolation from surrounding environments

  • The volume used to compensate for noise can reach unsafe levels

  • Music leaks, easily disturbing those nearby
